Pr39 was released on Jun 29 2003. The new stuff goes into pr40, which
Petter Reinholdtsen will release when it's ready. In the meantime there
is cvs-versions of the cd been build every 2 hours (evennumbered hours
and takes 30 minutes, 1030, 1230, 1430..) These cvs-versions are called
woody-i386-1.raw, but the name of the image is
skolelinux-skolelinux-i386-pr40. Once Petter Reinholdtsen thinks that
this cvs-version is good and ready, he will rename it, from
woody-i386-1.raw to skolelinux-i386-pr40.iso and move it to the
skolelinux-cd directory.

There is two relevant directories:
<URL:ftp.skolelinux.no/debian-cd/ with the cvs-versions>
<URL:ftp.skolelinux.no/skolelinux-cd/ with the official pr-versions>

I recommend using rsync to update your pr39 into a fresh cvs-image,
<URL: http://developer.skolelinux.no/rsyncusage.html>
is in Norwegian, but you should understand the commands :-)
I recommend you rename the iso-image you have:
mv skolelinux-i386-pr39.iso woody-i386-1.raw
then
rsync -v -v rsync.skolelinux.no::skolelinux/woody-i386-1.raw \
woody-i386-1.raw
will give you a fresh cvs-image.

But, there is a serious problem with the cvs-version; it doesn't
install. Something is wrong in the first part of the installation,
something is very strange with the partitioning, see bug #424
<URL: http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=424>
If you could help finding out what is wrong, then we can test to see how
the German translation is looking :-)

I think it will just pause for a minute when installing the
kernel-image, then it will continue, no problem.

I hope you are not so tired anymore, and ready to debug :-)
