Yes, please tell me more.

But the problem I see with the incorrect packages being selected seem
to be a problem with the main-menu package, and it is not only related
to partitioning.  After removing all the partitioning packages we
don't want to use, lilo-installer was used in addition to
grub-installer.  This is not the way it is supposed to work. :/

I'm still investigating, and do not understand what is happening yet.
