Sorry, I could not find Live CD on the SuSE portal. Anyway, i do not have
broad band here, to quickly download the iso image and test it. Can you point me at a description page, please?

Does Live CD contain the most important network services for a school?

All you should ever need.

Would it be possible to add custom educational application to that iso?

If we have special whishes, I am sure SuSE will help us.

Is Live CD a knoppix-like cd? (that kind of solution would be very useful,
since it allows students to recover at home the same set up they had in classroom for their homworks).

Exactly. The only difference is, that the environment is saved on a Windows partition, when you whish. This means, that once you have configured the environment (network, preferences, even passwords), it is saved on the windows partition and when you restart the CDROM this environment is read and ready to run on startup.

P.S.: If youhave problems downloading a CDROM, I am able to send you a copy, if you send me your snail mail address.
