[Devel] New CD image pr35
I've make a new CD image, prerelease 35. It is available from
<URL:ftp://developer.skolelinux.no/skolelinux-cd/>. The image size is
652 MiB.
Major changes since the previous image:
- Changed user interface for first stage installer (debian-installer)
from text to slang.
- Removed a few prompts in the installation. I believe the
installation is about as easy as it is going to get now.
- Security fixes in KDE and cvs (more?)
- Upgraded NTP packages to get proper debconf support.
- Upgraded OpenOffice.org packages, this time with Nynorsk translations.
- The problem with workstation installs went away when we changed the
package lists. We need to find a proper fix for the APT problem.
- A few KDE configuration fixes.
- Got smb:-URLs working in KDE by installing smbclient as part of the
workstation profile.
- The CD is quite full, and a few packages was pushed out of the CD:
postgresql, some php4-modules, fetchmail, appletalk support and a
few backup tools.
- I probably forgot something.
I have testet that the CD is bootable and installable using VMWare.

The following configuration for server and LTSP-server should work out
of the box:
- Apache
- CUPS
- DHCP
- DNS
- LDAP
- LTSP
- NFS/SMB
- NTP
- SSH
- Squid
- Webmin
The following services do not work as they should:
- SMTP/POP/etc (Limacute missing configuration)
- cfengine (need netgroups, ie LDAP or NIS)
- Backup (no one has worked on it)
- SQL-tjener (will not install automatically)
- ez publish (no one has worked on it)
- Appletalk (no one has worked on it)
- User administration (unfinished implementation)
Test it and find out more. :-)
The disk usage for the different profiles (in KiB) is as follows.
Please take the numbers with a small grain of salt.

All in all there are 783 packages on the CD. Since the last time
there has been 20 packages added, 86 packages changed/upgraded and 26
