 English is the original language of almost every
program available, so yes, you can change the desktop
language to English.  You can also change the keyboard
layout to "US".

 The usual way for a user to change the desktop
language in Skolelinux, is by using the "KDE control
center" (KDE kontrollsenter).  Unless you already are
familiar with KDE, it will take some guessing to find
the right subsections if the GUI has a language you
don't understand.  But I think you will find out. :-)
