[Devel] [Bug 446] New: Norwegian keypad in X generates period instead of comma

http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=446

Summary: Norwegian keypad in X generates period instead of comma
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: pr39
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Systemdistribusjon
        AssignedTo: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: pere@xxxxxxxxxx

The keypad key for decimal separator generates period instead of
comma with the default 'no' keyboard layout. The same key
generate the correct character in the console (using /usr/share/keymaps/i386/qwerty/no-latin1.kmap.gz), but generate
the wrong character when using /etc/X11/xkb/symbols/no from
XFree86 4.2.1-3 in Debian package xlibs.

I found this change entry in XFree86 CVS, in directory
xc/programs/xkbcomp/symbols/:

  2002-12-19 02:07 dawes

        * dk, fi, no, se, pc/de, pc/dk, pc/fi, pc/no, pc/se:
        666. Change the keypad "decimal" key to KP_Separator
in the dk, fi, no, se xkb maps (#A.1440, Robin Rosenberg).

After checking the CVS tags, I believe the first XFree86 version
with this fix included is 4.3.
