Probably because this is the directory for project-documentation,
formal governmental letters and so on for the sami translation 
project. i18n.s.n should be pages for translation only?

The sami-translation project are recomended to follow the example 
from nynorsk and bokmål as shown here:

It also a bit strange that translation status for bokmål, nynorsk and
samisk are under the menu "nyttig info", and not under their
respective language. (Look under the statistics :-)
