We are planing a Skolelinux developer gathering in June 2005

  Location:      St. Paul school in downtown Bergen - specifically Christiesgt. 16.

The gathering will include work on several topics: 

  - Development 
  - Translation

Invitation:

  Anyone who is, has been, or wants to contribute to the Skolelinux
  project is invited

  Cheapest possible travel will be reimbursed for participants, given
  that they prepare and submit an invoice.  Travel expenses beyond NOK
  1500 (EUR 200) must be preapproved. For details on this process,

People needed for the organisational tasks:

  - Coordinators (one for each part):

    Coordinators are responsible for the coordination and
    communication among participants in one specific part of the
    gathering.

  - Local arrangement committee (needs 2):

    * Mari Wang <mariwan@ifi.uio.no>

    The local committee takes care of practical issues such as
    location, food shopping, dinner reservations, and so on.

Location information:

  If you are travelling by plane the best way to the school is
  via airport bus (70NOK) downtown, departure every 15 minutes or 
  so (20 minutes trip, 12 kilometres).
	
  If travelling by train, the school is only a 5-10 minutes walk
  (600m) away into the center of the town (see map link above).
	
  There are plenty of network connections for all attendees, a
  wireless setup will also be arranged someplace central in the
  area.
  
  It is possible (and recommended) to sleep at the school, thus
  maximizing time available for working (and minimizing cost,
  of course). Please bring sleeping bag if you are sleeping at
  the school.
