Yes, there are people working with Skolelinux in Denmark, Latvia,
Germany, Belgia and France.  I'm not aware of anyone working on it in
USA yet, so you would be the first. :)

Are you aware of the mailinglists for Skolelinux?  devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
is the international list for developers, while
linuxiskolen@xxxxxxxxxxxxx is a more generic mailing list (mostly
Norwegian).  Check out
<URL:http://developer.skolelinux.no/mailinglister.html> for the all
the available lists.
