Our namespace, (see /etc/bind/db.intern) uses hyphens for some of the names. 
Whereas this is allowed by RFC 952, it creates problems for some applications 
and utilities.

If we were to make changes to the namespace, removing the hyphens, would any 
hands be waved frantically in the air with lots of hair torn out?

It would involve changes to DNS, DHCP and LTSP. Possibly some more. None of the 
service names have hyphens.

Any comments?
